Munchon city

Main actions:

Guarantee safe access to potable water for the hospital:
starting from the 2 storage reservoirs (2000 m³), we will install new supply lines all the way to Munchon hospital.

Make the previous programme’s achievements durable :
reinforce the aptitude of the local technicians in charge of the town’s water supply by providing new equipment and further training.

Protect the inhabitants from water-related diseases and thus prevent hospitalisation:
awareness campaigns to encourage hygienic practises and prevent water-related diseases (campaigns run by the Munchon’s health authorities).

Specific objective:

increase the operating capacity of the water network in Munchon, especially in the town’s hospital.

A previous project, carried out between November 2004 and June 2006, led to rehabilitation of the potable waterworks in Munchon (Kangwon province) and thanks to new equipment, the quantity of available water grew from 400 m³ to 2000 m³.

Today, Triangle has decided to mainly target the town’s hospital in the aim of protecting the patients (considered most vulnerable to water-related diseases). Creation of new waterworks will optimise previously performed works.
