Position: Deputy Head of mission
Base: Central African Republic

Summary job description:

  • Supports project’s implementation : gathers data at field level in order to ensure a proper monitoring and reporting of the programs and supports the  bases on project management depending on their needs
  • Supports the internal reporting (RCI and CRM)
  • Supports the reporting to the donors: activities reports
  • Participates to the evaluation of on-going projects and to the identification of further programs
  • Backs up the administrative coordinator on financial management and human resources issues
  • Ensures that Triangle activities in CAR are in conformity with local laws 
  • Ensures the co-ordination and collect information to other NGOs working in CAR on an organizational level
  • Supports the representation towards national authorities and donors
  • Supports fundraising for the development of the mission
  • Represents the NGO in co-ordination meetings as well as at national authorities level
  • Divides the donors related work with the Head of Mission
  • Participates in the writing of reports/propel to donors
  • Regular contacts with the bases to ensure the proper follow-up of the projects
  • Supervise the work of the liaison officer in collaboration with the administrative coordinator
  • Ensures to be updated in terms of financial and HR management

Job requirements :

  • Experience and good knowledge of the humanitarian field (functioning of NGOs, donors such as ECHO, French Foreign Ministry etc...),
  • Competencies and significant experience (at least 3 years) in management,
  • Mastering the various computer tools such as Excel, Word, Power Point, etc
  • Ability to write up reports (excellent and treated written knowledge in French and English) and concern for good documents appearance,
  • Mastering written and oral English
  • Ability to set training (knowledge/competencies transfer),

Status, conditions & duration:

• Salaried status.
• Monthly salary of €1721

  • Monthly per diem of €400 + social benefits + housing in the field
  • International and local transportation for work purposes
  • 7 months contract, renewable
