Position: Water and sanitation technical coordinator
Base: Yemen
Summary job description:
Under the supervision of the Project manager, ensure the implementation of the water and sanitation program in the region of Haradh, including:
- Confirm the results of the technical evaluation regarding the estimated place of the wells;
- Identify the staff assigned to the water and sanitation activities and the suppliers
- Define the materials in connection with the technical data (depth, etc.)
- Ensure the inventory of materials and equipments in connection with the watsan activities
- Participate in the elaboration of the budgets
- Ensure the necessary supplies according to the required procedures
- Supervise the works and follow-up together with the WASH referent in HQ
- Complie the post-construction technical data (refill, consumption, etc.)
- Organize other activities such as promotion of the good uses of the water
- Take part in watsan assessment on new areas and new problems
- Contribute to represent the organization by the local authorities and the other humanitarian actors
- Guarantee the respect for the institutions and persons Triangle works with / for and the transparency of the interventions / choices / constraints
Job requirements :
- Good knowledge of the humanitarian environment (NGO, OI, EU, ECHO, ONE)
- Experience of at least 1 year in NGO on similar programs
- Experience of project management, planning
- Good command of Excel, Word,
- Team management
- Experience in insecure environment
- Capacities of anticipation and decision-making
- Good communication skills (written and spoken English is necessary, Arabic is a strong asset)
