Well-drilling in Kotédougou Village

We aim to implement a hand-operated well in Kotédougou village, Houet province. The well shall benefit both districts of the village: Diabaté (approximately 500 inhabitants) and Komasou (approximately 600 inhabitants), and complete the water network of this rural village (6 wells in operation).
To enhance the physical implementation of the well, ADAE (a local non-profit organisation specialising in social management of potable water systems) will deliver training about creation of a Water Management Committee.

Urban Sanitisation Improvement in Houndé town

• Duration: 12 months (January 2008 to January 2009)

This project aims to implement garbage collection in Houndé, in partnership with the town hall and two local non-profit organisations. Actions include:

• Implementing garbage collection points
  
• Providing equipment (brooms, dustbins, etc) to organisations in charge of collecting garbage and financial assistance to help the activity get started
  
• Running hygiene-awareness campaigns for the community.

Renovation of the Sports Training Centre in Matrourkou

• Funding: Région Rhône-Alpes
  
• Budget: 96 K€
  
• Duration: 12 months (January 2008 to January 2009)

In an effort to provide better and safer student facilities, the director and his team have requested help from the French Région Rhône-Alpes to build two new dormitories and class-rooms, and two toilet units.
Equipment for the classrooms, dormitories and sports sessions will also be provided through this project. Triangle G H has implemented and monitored the works.
