Report:"Ten Years of International Solidarity"

This document, published in 2004, retraces ten years of projects, joys, crises, disagreements and achievements. Ten years in the life of an NGO committed to international solidarity.

The first part briefly retraces the changes that Triangle has seen since its creation, in May 1994. It shows the broad outlines of Triangle's history, making distinctions between the early days (1994-1998), the crossroads and doubts (1998-1999), and then the work to re-centre the activities and redefine the association's objectives.

The major events for Triangle are then narrated year by year, in more detail. However, it is difficult to date certain projects… some involve a long preparation period before the mission actually begins (like our programmes in Korea or Vietnam), others develop in phases spread over several years. We have thus adopted the principle of mentioning the initial exploration missions in a country, followed by the event that signals the real start of the project.
