Within the framework of this project, TGH, through its local partners, intervenes both in the East of the country (Dombass region) with the most vulnerable and landlocked people and in the Western part of the country in Lviv and its periphery with displaced people.

The project is based on two main areas of intervention: promoting access to basic goods and services for victims of the conflict, and providing psychological support for vulnerable and isolated people.

This assistance takes the form of unconditional cash assistance to 1,000 vulnerable people affected by the conflict: the modality of this assistance depends on the area of intervention and market capacities and can take the form of cash transfers or electronic multipurpose vouchers.

Within the framework of this intervention, TGH and its partners offer support for the operation and maintenance of the reception capacities of 10 institutions sheltering a fragile public. Approximately 1,000 people will benefit directly from this assistance.

At the same time, and in view of the prevailing psychological needs, TGH and its partners offer group psychological support sessions for adults: they give beneficiaries the opportunity to express their emotions in a safe and confidential space and help them to get through this period of crisis. These activities are conducted by Ukrainian psychologists working with TGH and its national partner specialized in psychological support. These activities are open to the general population and are organized in transit centers or community venues.

This approach is complemented by individualized follow-up activities for the most acute cases through consultations and telephone hotlines, which allow us to follow up our beneficiaries even while they are in movement, and through consultations in transit centers.
