In 2023, TGH plans to strengthen its emergency response capacity and deploy to the eastern regions of the country, particularly the Kramatorsk region, where TGH has been operating since before the invasion. The number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) is particularly high and attacks, particularly on strategic infrastructure, have increased in recent months.

The project aims to respond to the priority needs of the population by providing financial and/or material assistance to the most vulnerable, as well as multimodal protection services (hotline, individual and/or collective counselling in collective centres, direct counselling in people's homes) offering psychosocial support and legal advice. Mobile teams are also deployed in eastern France to work with the most vulnerable people (elderly/disabled, isolated women, etc.) in remote areas. TGH supports both the community, through collective centres, and displaced persons and host communities.

This intervention is based on a partnership with local NGOs and government services, with a twofold objective: to reach the most isolated and vulnerable populations and give them access to humanitarian assistance, and to strengthen the response capacities of civil society and public institutions (in particular technical and management aspects).

The project will prioritise vulnerable groups, including the elderly, people with disabilities, people suffering from chronic diseases, women/girls (mainly female heads of households) and children.
