In Damascus, TGH supports schools

TGH organised open days in five schools in the rural region of Damascus, Syria, with the support of the communities.

With the support of TGH’s education teams, the children created shows to raise awareness of the importance of education and parental involvement in their upbringing through theatre, dance, poetry and song. They also promoted the integration of disabled children in schools.

310 parents attended the open days. Key members of the community were also present, including school principals, mayors and mukhtars, as well as the Director of Education for the Rural Region of Damascus.
