Triangle Génération Humanitaire (TGH) is an international organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid. It works across the entire aid continuum, including emergency response, rehabilitation and development. TGH works with communities and partners to deliver impactful, transparent, and accountable programs. TGH intervenes in Yemen since 1998.

Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Country Director, the Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing program management, ensuring effective implementation, rigorous monitoring, and full compliance with donor requirements, statutory regulations, and internal policies. He/she designs the programmatic strategy of TGH in Yemen based on field assessments he/she organises and gaps he/she identifies based on coordination with other humanitarian actors and donors.

 

Working in close collaboration with technical advisors at headquarters, the Program Coordinator supports project teams in the successful delivery of grant-funded activities, promoting transparency, accountability, and the efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop humanitarian programs based on needs assessments
  • Coordinate project activities (e.g., food aid, shelter, health, WASH)
  • Ensure programs align with organizational strategy and humanitarian standards
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Supervise field staff and project teams
  • Facilitate communication between departments (logistics, finance, HR)
  • Provide training and capacity building support
  • Prepare regular reports for donors and stakeholders
  • Liaise with local authorities, NGOs, UN agencies, and community leaders
  • Represent the organization in coordination meetings (clusters, working groups)
  • Ensure compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies
  • Participate in rapid assessments and emergency interventions

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in fields like:
    • International Development
    • Social Sciences
    • Public Health
    • or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
  • 3–7 years of experience in humanitarian or development work
  • Experience managing projects in emergency or conflict settings

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of humanitarian principles (e.g., Sphere standards) and humanitarian donors
  • Budget management and donor compliance
