Vladyslav, a 25-year-old forestry worker, saw his home severely damaged in a drone attack.
The explosion destroyed all five of his house’s windows, leaving his family exposed to the elements and the cold.

Shortages of materials caused by the war have led to sharp price rises in the construction sector, leaving Vladyslav unable to pay for the windows to be replaced. Due to his young age, he was not eligible for assistance to repair his home. In the middle of winter, it was becoming increasingly difficult to keep his daughter with him in a house that was impossible to heat. Vladyslav was under severe emotional pressure, feeling isolated and deeply distressed.
Following the meeting, the TGH team swiftly conducted a technical assessment and obtained authorisation to begin the repairs. As part of the work, five new, high-quality windows were installed, complete with internal and external slopes and flashings. “TGH has given me hope to continue living,” says Vladyslav.

Testimonial from Vladyslav

Since 2023, TGH has been working closely with local authorities to identify and support families most affected by the conflict in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, particularly those in urgent need of humanitarian aid to repair their homes.
This humanitarian action was carried out as part of a project supported by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF) and aimed at improving the living conditions and well-being of communities living near the front line and affected by the conflict, including displaced populations.
