Psychosocial Support for Communities Affected by the Conflict in Eastern Ukraine

Four years on, the war in Ukraine is still ongoing, and its consequences continue to have a disastrous impact on many individuals’ social balance.

TGH and its partners are working to provide assistance to the most affected people by the war. Since September 2025, Triangle Génération Humanitaire (TGH), The Tenth of April (TTA) and Posmishka have provided 𝟐𝟖𝟐 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 (227 women, 55 men) with psychosocial support across Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv Oblasts.

These activities are carried out by mobile protection teams in collective centres, community spaces, and humanitarian hubs, as well as through outreach and remote follow-up to ensure continued access despite shelling, displacement, and shifting frontlines.

Psychosocial support also serves as a key protection entry point, enabling early identification and referral of vulnerable individuals, including GBV survivors and children at-risk.

These services empower conflict-affected individuals to cope with stress and access protection services despite ongoing insecurity.

These activities were made possible thanks to the CDCS at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
