Following the floods that made the roads impassable, TGH teams in CAR, with the support of the Logistics Cluster, airlifted materials on 30 August for the construction of water towers, fittings and other equipment for water, hygiene and sanitation activities in the Korsi camps.
This operation is part of the emergency water, hygiene and sanitation intervention carried out by TGH in partnership with UNICEF since April 2023. The aim is to #improve access to drinking water for Sudanese refugees by building reservoirs fed by boreholes and installing solar pumping systems to ensure a continuous supply. latrines are also being built, along with hygiene promotion activities through the distribution of hand-washing equipment.
