At the start of the new school year last September, TGH, in partnership with Terre des Hommes Italia, successfully ran a major community ‘Back to Learning‘ campaign in the villages of Al Eitha and Edira Sufla. The campaign aimed to reintegrate out-of-school children and support those who had fallen behind academically.
The operation identified 772 children, including vulnerable and out-of-school children. 91 children received school supplies and 19 children were re-enrolled in school with essential school supplies for a full school year.
TGH’s targeted approach ensures that educational resources reach underserved areas, with priority given to children re-entering the education system.
As part of this campaign, TGH will continue to promote education and schooling.
To this end, psychosocial support teams are conducting awareness sessions in many places in the communities.
