At Milé-Extensions Camp, TGH Is Expanding WASH Services in Response to the Increasing Needs of Sudanese Refugees.
Since the outbreak of the civil war in Sudan in April 2023, 12 million people have been displaced, including more than one million who have fled to eastern Chad.
Consequently, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) needs in refugee camps across Chad have risen sharply due to the protracted crisis and the ongoing influx of displaced people.
With the support of the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), TGH is responding to essential needs in the camp and supporting refugee populations as growing pressure on WASH services continues to intensify.
