TGH invites you to its next Humanitarian Café!
As part of the side events of the One Health Summit hosted by France in Lyon on 7 April 2026, TGH invites you to its next Humanitarian Café, entitled ‘TGH’s holistic approach in Nepal: towards sustainable food value chains‘.
Although they receive little media coverage, the health challenges in Nepal are significant. TGH began its work in Nepal with an emergency response to the 2015 earthquake, followed by rehabilitation efforts. The organisation now focuses its activities on agricultural development in partnership with local agricultural cooperatives and the Nepalese NGO Farmers for Rural Development (FRDEV).
In order to meet the needs of Nepalese farmers, it is crucial to address issues relating to human and environmental health. FRDEV and TGH are currently running a project to promote organic farming and raise awareness of occupational health issues.
Through this new Humanitarian Café, TGH aims to inform and raise public awareness of these little-known issues. Join us!
