Programme details
The Dorijka project is being carried out by a consortium of 5 French NGOs.It is funded by USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance.

The overall budget for the project is $94,000,000, including $15,482,000 for TGH’s actions. It is being carried out in partnership with a number of players in Ukrainian civil society.
This project aims to help mitigate the impact of the conflict and prolonged crisis on vulnerable populations in Ukraine.
The conflict in Ukraine is evolving rapidly. Attacks on health facilities and social infrastructure are affecting all public services and leading to major population displacements.
As a result of this situation, the NGO members of the consortium, including TGH, have carried out primary and secondary data analyses and launched assessments in various regions of Ukraine. The assessments carried out have shown that the affected population faces difficulties in accessing essential services in terms of healthcare, adequate and safe water, sanitation and hygiene, as well as essential household items.
The project covers a wide range of activities in the areas of health, protection, water, hygiene and sanitation, cash distribution, protection, nutrition, etc. The various activities aim to reduce mortality and morbidity by increasing access, coverage, use and quality of primary healthcare services.
In addition, they protect and support appropriate and optimal infant and young child feeding practices through multi-sectoral activities. They also meet essential basic needs, taking into account gender, age and disability, through unconditional cash assistance to cover immediate needs for health, household items, food security, water, sanitation, hygiene and education for conflict-affected people.
