Thanks to this project, TGH is building the capacities of the local child protection actors so that they can answer the child protection concerns to the best of their abilities. The actions of the local actors are thus impacting the Iraqi population who benefits from efficient child protection services. The capacity building of the local child protection actors is implemented by TGH through several activities such as trainings and on-the-job coaching of social workers. Training sessions of trainers are also implemented so that the capacity building is long term and efficient. Case management systems are also strengthened. At the end of this project, THG aims to withdraw itself, leaving a functional and autonomous child protection system.
