Stanislas Bonnet named General Director of TGH

Stanislas Bonnet succeeds the founders of Triangle Génération Humanitaire and becomes General Director with effect from 5 September 2024.

Stanislas Bonnet took his first steps in the humanitarian sector during his national cooperation service in Mozambique between 1992 and 1993. Following this initial experience, his professional career took him to a number of countries facing crisis or post-crisis situations.

Over the years, Stanislas Bonnet has had the opportunity to work for various organisations abroad – the United Nations, Médecins Sans Frontières and the Anglo-Saxon NGO Care. His career in Lyon has been particularly marked by two milestones: Les Centres Sociaux de Rillieux-la-Pape and Handicap International.

Today, Stanislas Bonnet is keen to pursue his commitment to the humanitarian sector while taking on new challenges, and has joined Triangle Génération Humanitaire, an international solidarity organisation celebrating its thirtieth anniversary in 2024.

« I want to defend Triangle Génération Humanitaire’s unique position in the French and international NGO landscape, while preparing it to face the many challenges that lie ahead in a world in crisis and within a humanitarian sector facing major issues: challenges to International Humanitarian Law, localisation, and a drop in funding. »

Stanislas Bonnet is 55, married with children.
