Triangle Génération Humanitaire, present in Sudan since 2004, supports populations affected by the consequences of this war from Geneina to Port Sudan, including Zalingei, Golo, Tawila, Madani, and Khartoum.
The war has been devastating Sudan since April 15, 2023.
As the conflict in Sudan drags on into its third year, marked by widespread abuses, armed violence against both civilians and humanitarian workers, sexual violence, and serious violations of human rights, children’s rights, and international humanitarian law, Triangle Génération Humanitaire now seeks to give a voice to its field teams, powerful examples of commitment, resilience, and solidarity.
Aladden AHMED, Information and MEAL Manager
My name is Aladden Hamid, and I work as an Information and MEAL Manager with TGH.
I have been working with TGH for nearly a year, and in the context of the ongoing conflict in Sudan, TGH has played a vital role in delivering humanitarian assistance, particularly through intervention in Port-Sudan, Gezira State, Khartoum, Oumdurman, and Darfur.
Over the past three years of conflict, TGH has responded to the needs of affected populations, supporting the resilience of communities facing difficult life conditions. Our intervention has focused on key sectors within water, sanitation, and hygiene, food security and livelihoods, and child protection, with ensuring a comprehensive and integrated response.
We’re proud of what has been achieved, and we remain committed to continuing our support and improving the lives of the most vulnerable communities.
Alagib ADAM, Protection Manager
My name is Alagib Adam, Protection Manager at Tawila Base. I joined TGH a year and a half ago, in October 2024.
As we all know, three years ago war broke out in Sudan, and it resulted in many humanitarian issues. As the conflict continues between SAF (Sudanese Armed Forces) and RSF (Rapid Support Forces), it raises many challenges, including restricted access for aid organizations, displacement of civilians, and destruction of institutions such as schools and health centers.
People have been displaced, internally and also as refugees in neighboring countries. Many issues have arisen; Children are exposed to violence and recruitment during the war and there has been an increase in sexual violence and exploitation. Additionally, the population lacks food, health care, and protection services. Civilians face injury, death, and displacement due to shelling and crossfire.
When people reach the camps, overcrowding and lack of shelter expose them to harsh conditions and economic hardship. Also, much sexual violence occurs during displacement on the roads. Women and girls face very hard conditions and abuse, and they are left with trauma and limited access to support and services.
Children also face separation from their families, child labor, and are sometimes forced to be armed.
As a protection actor, I recommend and advocate for safe humanitarian coordination and access with the disputing parties, expanding GBV services, safe spaces, and survivor support programs, and strengthening child protection systems and family tracing services. Also, to provide services for stranded people and to help those detained to be released.
Thank you so much.
Setalbanat ABDULATEEF, Psychosocial Support Facilitator
Hello dear listeners, I’m Setalbanat Abdurateef Ahmed. I joined TGH in October 2020 as a PSS facilitator in Tawilah.
TGH started working here in 2024 and has implemented activities in different sectors, such as water, hygiene and sanitation, food security and livelihood, and also the protection sector.
In the protection sector, we provide many activities. We have six CFS (Child-Friendly Spaces) where children can participate in different activities. We also have one women and girls center, specifically for women and girls.
Here in Tawilah, TGH has a good reputation within the community.
Thank you for listening.
Ibrahim ADAM, Food Security and Livelihood Officer

Hello everyone, my name is Ibrahim Adam. I am an FSL Officer with TGH since 2025.
We all know that Sudan has been suffering from war for over three years.
As a result, many issues have arisen. One of these challenges is access to food security and livelihood.
TGH has played a very important role in addressing these challenges by distributing food assistance to support families and providing essential food supplies.
Most of the communities have expressed gratitude to TGH for its support, as it has helped them meet their needs and receive assistance at the right time.
Thank you.
Ahmed TARIG MAMON AHMED, Protection Officer

My name is Ahmad Tarig Mamoun, a Protection Officer with TGH, and I have been working with TGH for almost one year. Over the past three years of conflict in Sudan, protection needs have been growing rapidly, and the challenges have been real for communities on the ground.
In our work, we have focused the most on strengthening community-based protection, working closely with volunteers and local structures, not just to respond, but to build something sustainable. One thing I have seen clearly is that when communities are given the right support and trust, they become the fairest line of protection for themselves. Despite everything, there is still a lot of resilience. You see it in how people support each other, how women create safe networks, and how children continue to find moments of safety and hope. For me, this is the real impact of our work, not only addressing needs, but helping people moving forward with dignity.
Marwa EISA, Protection Case Worker

Hello everyone, good morning. I am Marwa, a protection case worker in Golo.
Today, I would like to talk about the successes of TGH in Golo.
TGH has achieved significant successes, including the provision of water, sanitation, and hygiene services.
TGH also provides psychosocial support in Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS), where children play happily, interact with one another, and are able to forget about their worries.
In addition, TGH provides food items and non-food items, as well as case management services. Community volunteers also play an important role in raising awareness within the community.
All these efforts have contributed to improving the lives of local communities as well as internally displaced persons (IDPs), and to strengthening the protective environment.
Thank you very much for listening.
Ryan ELTAYEB,
WASH Manager

Hello everyone, I am Rayan, WASH Manager. I joined TGH in August 2024. I worked in Golo, Zalingei, and Tawilah during the Sudan crisis and across internal displacement.
TGH has established many lifesaving activities to support the community in these locations. Recently, we also started supporting communities through tracking case insights and hospitals.
In addition, we supported sanitation activities in Zalingei hospital to ensure more water for the community. TGH also established the rehabilitation and operation of the water yacht in Alinghi. This water yacht is supporting 40% of the community households in Zalingei.
These activities have supported the community and contributed to the safe lives of displaced people in these areas.
TGH was the first organization to enter at the right time and start these interventions.
