- Kharkiv region, Ukraine

In Ukraine, winter preparation starts in the summer.
In frontline communities across the Kharkiv region, keeping essential utility services running through the winter is a daily struggle. Damaged infrastructure and ongoing attacks place immense pressure on local authorities and heating systems.
To help communities stay warm during another winter of war, Triangle Génération Humanitaire (TGH) is taking early action.
With support from the CDCS (French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs), TGH delivered heating equipment to district heating infrastructure in Malyniivka and Dokuchaievskyi.
Why early action matters:
- To ensure advance preparation: Installing equipment during the warmer months allows technical teams to finalize preparations before the first frosts.
- To protect the most vulnerable: Ensuring uninterrupted heating for the elderly, children, and people with disabilities.
- To strengthen local capacity: Working alongside local authorities to build the resilience of essential services near the front line.
TGH remains committed to supporting conflict-affected communities across the Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia regions to better withstand the impact of the war.
