Programme details

In order to respond effectively and appropriately to the needs of people affected by the conflict, this project has two main strands: firstly, an assessment of logistics capacity in Poland, where a humanitarian hub is being set up to transport emergency supplies; secondly, an assessment of the most urgent needs in Ukraine and the identification of ways of responding in a war context.

These assessments enable TGH to identify the real needs on the ground and to coordinate humanitarian responses in order to strengthen their impact and cover the entire population. While the focus is on displaced people in the west of the country, it is important for TGH not to forget the needs of people living in enclaves in eastern Ukraine. These assessments complement and reinforce the analyses and coordination efforts already carried out by the team relocated to Lviv at the start of the conflict.
