Programme details

In the context of a protracted conflict in eastern and southern Ukraine, marked by recurrent shelling, deteriorating infrastructure and repeated displacement, TGH, Solidarités International and their local partners are implementing an integrated response covering Shelter, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Protection, targeting the most vulnerable populations, particularly those living near the front line, newly displaced people and households affected by strikes.

Shelter interventions aim to address damage to homes and improve living conditions for people exposed to cold and harsh winter conditions, notably through repairs, the provision of essential items and heating support.

WASH activities address the deterioration of water, sanitation and heating infrastructure through emergency repairs, the rehabilitation of communal facilities and the provision of essential equipment.

TGH complements this response with Protection activities, including case management, legal assistance, psychosocial support and community-based protection activities. This integrated approach aims to address people’s immediate needs while strengthening their resilience and access to appropriate assistance.

These activities are supported by the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO).
