Programme details
This project contributes to providing safe, timely, principled, and gender-responsive humanitarian assistance to the most vulnerable groups to reduce mortality and morbidity in areas with high severity of need or at risk of further deterioration of critical humanitarian needs.
Moreover, it provides direct responses to the protection needs arising from the crisis for affected women, men, girls, and boys, and ensures that assistance and advocacy are guided by the principles of protection, conflict sensitivity, and inclusivity across gender and diversity. The total budget for the project is $750,000, of which $485,000 is allocated to TGH’s activities.

Triangle Génération Humanitaire, in consortium with Relief International and Première Urgence Internationale and two local partners SUDO and CAFA, aims to reduce the impact of famine-associated needs including WASH, as well as protection needs by providing lifesaving assistance to IDPs, returnees and host communities in Medani Al Kubra and Sharg Al Jazirah localities in Al Jazirah state.
This project provides intervention in three sectors in two localities: Food Security and Livelihood in Medani Al Kubra, WASH in Sharg Al Jazirah and Protection (including GBV and Child Protection) in both localities.
The intervention addresses the needs of the population in Wad Medani and Sharg Al Jazirah localities by providing unconditional food assistance to meet the essential dietary needs of food-insecure households. It ensures a holistic response and addresses protection needs through implementation of Child Protection and GBV prevention/response activities.
